GENERAL ADMISSION ENTRY 3:00 - 6:00

The Basin Brew Fest Committee and the Basin Cares Foundation are excited to announce the 8th Annual Basin Brew Fest, happening Saturday, March 28, 2026, in Morgan City. What began as a craft beer festival has grown into a beloved celebration of Louisiana culture, community, and connection, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back for another unforgettable year.

A Better Festival Experience

Last year’s move under the Hwy 90 Bridge was a huge success, offering improved logistics, more space, and much-needed shade for festivalgoers. We plan to remain in this general area for 2026, with thoughtful layout adjustments to improve crowd flow and enhance the overall experience for attendees, breweries, vendors, and musicians alike.

More Than a Festival

Basin Brew Fest is proud to be presented by The Basin Cares Foundation, a newly certified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. While our structure has evolved, our mission remains unchanged: to revitalize Lawrence Park and, as opportunities arise, support additional green spaces throughout Morgan City and surrounding communities.

Since the festival’s launch in 2017, Basin Brew Fest has reinvested more than $100,000 back into Lawrence Park. These funds have supported improvements to the playground, historic gazebo, fountain, cornerstone marker, and parking area—creating lasting, visible benefits for residents and visitors alike.

A Celebration of Louisiana

Basin Brew Fest showcases the best of Louisiana craft beer while drawing visitors from across the region. More importantly, it’s a celebration of the people, history, and spirit that make Morgan City special. Year after year, attendees return not just for the beer—but for the sense of community that defines this event.
